The Chinese dictionary is used to keep track of all of the Chinese characters you wish to learn. As you find more and more Chinese characters that interest you, you can add them
to your dictionary by using the "Dictionary" menu.
When adding a Chinese word to the dictionary, there are three fields which are needed. The first field is for the Chinese characters of the word. This can contain one or more characters.
The second field is the pinyin spelling of the word. You use the standard pinyin spelling with number for the tones at the end of the words. The dictionary list will convert these numbers to the
proper pinyin display. If there are multiple correct choices for a pinyin spelling, you need to separate them with a semicolon (;). The third field is the English definition of the Chinese word.
If there are multiple correct definitions, you can separate them with a semicolon as well.
